National Orchid Garden
The National Orchid Garden is located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens but requires a ticket for entry, unlike the former, which is a free attraction. It is the country’s centre for orchid cultivation and research, with about 1,000 natural species and 2,000 hybrids on display. You can admire Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, and also check out the VIP Orchid Garden, where you can view hybrids named after visiting dignitaries such as Nelson Mandela, Jackie Chan, and William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
